Hank Marvin, between the years 1958 to 1968, played lead guitar on 25 hits by The Shadows, and 38 hits by Cliff Richards and The Shadows. The Shadows also amassed 63 hits, which included 12 chart topping instrumentals.

The amazing originality of Hank Marvin's style of guitar playing influenced such great musicians along the way, most notable being, Jeff Beck, Richie Blackmore, Eric Clapton, Peter Frampton, Dave Gilmore, Peter Green, George Harrison, Justin Hayward, Mark Nopfler, Albert Lee, Brian May, Jimmy Page, Neil Young, etc!
